Medon Terstena joined Halton Law in May 2025 as a Trainee Solicitor and is a Police Station Accredited Representative. He is fluent in both English and Albanian.
Medon assists with a broad range of criminal defence matters. He is committed to delivering a high standard of client care and is recognised for his diligent approach, attention to detail and ability to manage a substantial workload.
During his training, Medon has assisted his Supervising Solicitor, Omar Shah, in numerous Crown Court matters involving serious and complex allegations, including murder, large-scale drug importation involving multi-tonne quantities, serious violence and complex fraud. This experience has provided him with valuable exposure to the preparation and conduct of complex criminal proceedings.
Medon has also gained significant experience at the police station stage, assisting clients in a wide range of criminal investigations. He places particular emphasis on early case preparation, careful consideration of the available evidence and ensuring that clients receive appropriate legal advice and representation from the outset.
Through his involvement in these matters, Medon has contributed to a number of positive outcomes for clients, including cases resulting in no further action and matters in which the prosecution subsequently offered no evidence, resulting in acquittals.
Medon continues to develop his practise, case preparation and legal skills within the scope of his role and under the supervision of experienced solicitors and barristers, with a particular interest in complex and serious criminal defence work.
