
Jamil currently works at chambers as a Legal Assistant. He completed his Bar Training Course at BPP with Distinction, during which he volunteered with the BPP Legal Advice Clinic. His experience at Legis Chambers and the BPP Legal Advice Clinic has helped him build strong skills in legal research, drafting, client meetings, and advisory work in Civil Litigation, Family Law, Contract Law, and Housing and Landlord-Tenant issues.
In addition, he is also undertaking his Police Station Accreditation Course and assists our Criminal team on an ad hoc basis.
In Pakistan, Jamil gained substantial courtroom and judicial exposure through advocacy, associate work, and clerkships at the Peshawar High Court. His experience includes bail applications, declaratory suits, civil litigation, appellate advocacy, comparative legal research, and close observation of judicial reasoning in tax, company, medical negligence, Islamic law, and civil revision matters.
He is fluent in Urdu and Pashto, and has intermediate proficiency in Arabic, strengthened by continuing study of syntax and morphology.
